CANOPY Book: Paco and the Trail of Slow Leaves
CANOPY · Paco the Sloth · Ages 5 to 10
When reading becomes more accessible, children can finally enter the story at their own pace.
Faced with text that is too fast, too dense, or too abstract, some children get stuck, lose confidence, or give up before even discovering the story.
Paco and the Trail of Slow Leaves combines an illustrated story, complete audio, colored markers, and a progressive rhythm to allow children to read, listen, observe, and understand with greater autonomy.

Why children get hooked
The child is no longer alone with the text.
Paco's world transforms reading into a concrete and reassuring experience. The voice accompanies the story, colors support certain cues, and illustrations allow comprehension even before reading everything.
The child can use text, image, and audio together.
They can listen before reading or revisit a passage without feeling like a failure.
Each comprehension becomes a benchmark for advancing with more autonomy.
